Millie Menchu-Speech Language Pathologist
Mrs. Menchu, the Speech/Language Pathologist, has worked for the school district for 10 years and at Gate City for 8. Her favorite thing about her job is getting to know the learners in her caseload. She enjoys figuring out what will have the greatest impact on improving their speech and language skills, and seeing the progress they make through their interventions. When she isn't working, Mrs. Menchu enjoys spending time with her three daughters, traveling, reading, and playing board games. She is excited to be working with Gate City learners again this year.
Kim Lewis, School Psychologist
Kim Lewis is a graduate of Highland High School. She earned her BS is Psychology from the University of Idaho. She also earned a Master’s degree in Human Exceptionality and an Ed.S in School Psychology from Idaho State University. The 2020-2021 school year will be her 6th year as a school psychologist. She LOVES her job and all of the people she gets to work with in education!!
Jacalyn Redd, computer teacher
Mrs. Redd graduated from BYU with an associate of Science degree in nursing. She originally trained and worked as a registered nurse for 8 years. After taking a break to raise her children, she began working at Gate City. She has worked as a Para at Gate City for twelve years. The first 6 years she worked as a para in the special education room, and the next two years she worked with students in the ERR. The last four years she has been a computer para, teaching students to use proper keyboarding techniques. She is passionate about her job and feels that learning keyboarding is an essential skill. Mrs. Redd loves Gate City, her co-workers, and the children.
