PCSD25 Coronavirus

Last Updated: 7/27/2021 6:37 PM

Check back frequently for updates for the 2021-2022 school year. The health and wellness of our school communities is a top priority at PCSD 25.

As of July 26, 2021, PCSD 25 will be returning to school full-time, in-person five days a week. Face coverings are optional, however, the Board may require face masks/coverings at any time if wide-spread and rapid community and/or school transmission occurs. For more information, review the Roadmap to the 2021-2022 School Year posted below.

As educators, we know that learners benefit from and even flourish in every aspect of their lives – intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically – when attending school in a face-to-face setting. As we continue to develop the best path forward to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 in our school communities, our driving goal is to return to the classroom as safely as possible for the 2021-2022 school year.

We will continue to keep our stakeholders informed about the coronavirus, in addition to sharing resources you can take to stay healthy. PCSD 25 works in partnership with the Southeast Idaho Public Health Department and the State Department of Education. With the guidance of these and other agencies, we closely monitor any public health situation that could potentially impact our local schools.

We continue to pay very close attention to the latest Coronoavirus breaking news and developing trends. The severity of the Coronavirus outbreak remains challenging to predict. PCSD 25 maintains close contact with healthcare providers, state Coronavirus response teams, and health agencies in the event that any cases are reported in our community.
