2023-24 How do I qualify for the State Chess Tournament? (Choose one...)
- Top 3 finishers per grade/per Regional
- 3.0 points or higher at Regional.
- All 12th graders welcome to attend.
- Attend 2 Alternate Qualifiers.

Regional State Qualifiers
Round Times: begins at 10:00am, continuous rounds with break after round 3.
Open Format: 5SS G/30; d5
Sections: K-5, 6-8, 9-12
Byes: 1 half-point bye any round if declared by round 2
Registration fee: $25 ICA Members, $30 non-ICA Members, $40/family
Requirements: No memberships are needed! No state requirement. Open to all scholastic players. Equipment provided.
Prized: trophies for top 1st - 3rd overall in each section, other trophies and medals awarded for state qualifiers, top 3 in each grade. Top School (using top four players from each school).

Registration closes 48 hrs before event. ALL fees must be paid 48 hrs before event. No monies or fees accepted on site.
