More Together: Fill the Boxes. Fill the Hearts.

As we enter this season of gratitude, we’re reminded that in Pocatello/Chubbuck School District 25, we are More Together—and when we give together, we make sure everyone has a place at the table.

In partnership with The Idaho Foodbank, we’re helping ensure local families can enjoy a warm Thanksgiving meal. Thanks to our partnership with the local branch of The Idaho Foodbank, we’ve learned there’s an immediate need for:

• 700 cans of cranberry sauce to complete the Foodbank’s Thanksgiving boxes
• Shelf-stable proteins such as canned tuna or chicken, peanut butter, beans, chili, and hearty soups

You can help by donating these items at any PCSD 25 school or the district office between November 7 and November 14. Every can and every contribution helps fill both boxes and hearts this holiday season.

We know that many of our schools already hold annual food drives—this effort is not meant to replace those important traditions, but to expand and amplify them through one shared act of giving.

And if your family or you know a family who has been affected by the government shutdown or recent pause or reductions in SNAP benefits, please remember that help is available. We encourage affected families to complete the Free & Reduced-Price Meal Application as soon as possible. The application helps ensure your learner continues to receive nutritious meals at school without interruption. Applications are available on the Infinite Campus Parent Portal, or pick up a paper application from your school’s main office. Every learner deserves to be nourished and to know You Belong Here.
