🌄 Wellness Quest Spotlight: Finding Joy in Every Season with Lacey Smart

Lacey Smart, 4th Grade Teacher at Gate City Elementary, has embraced the Wellness Quest by filling her days with movement, family time, and creativity. 💚

From early morning sunrise hikes north of Blackfoot with her sister to fishing trips with her husband and a quick family elk hunt, Lacey has made the most of Idaho’s incredible outdoors. 🎣🌲

She also shared a sweet (and hilarious!) moment from the gym with her son:

He’s always inviting me to do hard weights with him. I obliged, but told him he owed me a picture. This is what I got — hahaha!

When she’s not out exploring nature, Lacey spends her evenings quilting and crafting, making a beautiful Christmas quilt that reflects her creative side and love for home. 🪡✨

Her story is a joyful reminder that wellness is about balance — time outdoors, laughter, creativity, and connecting with the people who make life meaningful.
