Technology Department vision/mission

The Pocatello/Chubbuck School District vision statement, mission statement, belief statements and learning goals provide the foundation for this technology plan along with the District Strategic Learning Plan and State Standards.

Technology Vision: Advance excellence in teaching and learning using technology to provide continuous, relevant and adaptive learning experiences to prepare for participation in a global society.

Technology Mission: The district of the future applies research to develop technological fluency and digital literacy by:

• broadening access to technology for all stakeholders;
• integrating technology into appropriate aspects of learning;
• creating a collaborative community of stakeholders;
• preparing all learners for success in the digital age and global economy.
