I love grinding the fresh ginger and spices by hand in my mortar and pestle; the aroma alone feels both grounding and restorative. I make the recipe a little less sweet to keep it both soothing and healthful, and I always make enough to share with friends —it’s like a hug in a cup.” ☕💚

“I also spent time with my family along the Snake River in Marsing, Idaho, as we celebrated my daughter’s final home college soccer game on Senior Day. Having a campfire near the water’s edge brings me peace, inspiration, and renewal — a beautiful reminder that connection and nature restore the heart.” 🌊💫
