• We encourage learners in grades K–12 to bring The World I Imagine to life through art and creative expression. Create a drawing or painting, poem, photography or photo story, pottery or 3-D work, musical composition, performance or vocal recording, multimedia piece, or another creative endeavor that shows us a world only you can imagine.
• Learners should submit their artwork with an entry form to the front office of their home school by February 25, 2027. Teachers may also submit entries on behalf of their learners directly to Courtney Fisher or Shawna Sprague.
• Entries will be showcased for the community during the Historic Downtown Pocatello First Friday Art Walk on May 7, 2027, where award winners will be announced.
• Winning entries will continue their journey in the community through additional exhibitions following the Art Walk. Locations and details will be announced.

PCSD 25 learners in grades K–12.

Where to submit:

Submit entries and a completed entry form to the front office of the learner’s home school by February 25, 2027. Teachers may also submit entries on behalf of their learners directly to Courtney Fisher or Shawna Sprague.

Entry Categories:

• Visual Art | Paintings, drawings, mixed media, collage, printmaking, and other two-dimensional artwork. Artwork should be mounted or otherwise prepared for safe display.
• Photography | Individual photographs or photo stories. Photographs should be printed and mounted for exhibition.
• 3-Dimensional Art | Pottery, sculpture, ceramics, fiber arts, models, and other three-dimensional works. Pieces should be sturdy enough to safely transport and display.
• Written Arts | Poetry, short prose, or other creative written work. One-page maximum; 12-point font or larger.
• Music & Performance | Original compositions or performances of existing works are welcome. Instrumental, vocal, dance, theatrical, spoken-word, or other performance entries may be submitted by video or audio recording. Maximum length: 3 minutes.
• Multimedia / Digital Arts | Original video, animation, graphic design, digital art, or other multimedia work. Maximum video length: 3 minutes.

General Requirements:

• Entries should creatively explore the theme The World I Imagine.
• Each entry must include a completed submission form.
• Individual and collaborative/group entries are welcome.
• Each learner may submit one entry / one entry per category.
• All work must be learner-created. Teacher guidance and classroom instruction are welcome, but the submitted work should represent the learner’s own creative effort.
• Physical entries should have the learner’s name, school, and entry title securely attached to the back or bottom.
• Digital/audio/video entries should be submitted using this Google Form. also identified and linked on the submission form.
• Entries must be appropriate for a K–12 school and community exhibition.
• Selected entries will be displayed publicly, and winning entries may be featured in district communications and additional community exhibitions.
