My biggest hope as an elementary school counselor is to create an environment where learners feel safe, seen, and heard. This space gives students a place to pause, take a breath, and feel supported while navigating big emotions. We’re intentional about naming feelings, validating experiences, and teaching coping strategies learners can carry with them beyond the moment. It’s been powerful to watch students reconnect with themselves and return to learning feeling more grounded, confident, and ready to engage.
