Our Mission
To support post-secondary learners in building life skills, independence, and meaningful community involvement.
Program Goals
We serve learners transitioning into adulthood through personalized instruction, real-world experiences, and compassionate guidance. Whether we're volunteering, learning workplace skills, or practicing daily living routines, The Arches is a place where learners grow with purpose, pride, and support.
Learner Life & The Community
At Arches, learner life is all about connection, growth and hands-on experiences. Each day is designed to build confidence, independence, and real-world skills - while also making space for fun, friendship, and creativity.
From classroom learning to community outings, learners participate in a wide range of engaging activities including:
- Community Fridays
- Job Exploration
- Social-Emotional Development
- Special Events & Themed Days
Our learners are not just participants - they are contributors. Whether it's planning events, helping out around town, or support on another, every learner plays an active role in shaping our Arches community.
Meet the Team
The Arches team is made up of extraordinary educators and support staff who go above and beyond every day. Their passion for helping learners thrive is matched by their energy, patience, and creativity in the classroom. Each staff member plays a vital role in guiding and supporting students, and together their collaboration builds a safe, welcoming, and empowering environment where all learners can succeed.
