Mr. Beckstead is no ordinary band teacher; he inspires us and also helps us learn valuable life skills while having the time of our lives. Mr. Beckstead has truly been the best teacher I’ve ever had and I think every band student would agree.

Mr. Drysdale, I feel like I should say this more often but, thank you! Your passion for teaching shows and has affected me tremendously in the best way possible. I get excited for your classes; I feel like they will stick with me for the rest of my life. Even though you teach more of the serious subjects, you always find a way to make it fun. Thank you and I hope you enjoy your retirement; you deserve it! 

Mrs. Peterson is like a ray of sunshine on my cloudy days. You have made me so much better at English and you have helped me learn so many things. Thank you for always being patient and kind to me. Thank you for helping me feel like I matter. I truly think you have made the most impact on me at school.

Ms. Page is hands down the most inspirational teacher I’ve ever had. First and foremost, she reminds me to persevere and to never give up.  Another reason is that she makes learning fun by doing creative things. Finally, she makes our classroom a safe place by being a caring teacher and she says it’s ok to make mistakes.

Ms. Hughes is the best teacher ever, not only have I done better in science this year but I have done better in all of my classes because of her. Ms. Hughes has a great way of teaching science and making it fun, science is my favorite subject now. 

“Mr. Praska is awesome, he is always full of energy and he makes the warm-ups and stretching fun. It is always fun to go to his class and workout, and the energy in the class is always the best.

I think Mrs. Khang should get this award because she was nice, caring,
and treated all of her students with respect and care.
