New Hire Information

Welcome to Pocatello/Chubbuck School District. We are a dedicated group of people committed to ensuring our students are prepared to be successful in college, career, and life. PCSD is dedicated to supporting your success. The Human Resource Department, along with your immediate supervisor, will help facilitate your onboarding process. We look forward to working with you.

Pre-Hire Session

The Human Resource Pre-Hire Session is one of the final steps to becoming a member of PCSD Team. You will be invited to a pre-hire session by the Human Resource team to complete your HR paperwork.

Even if you have completed forms online, you must attend a pre-hire session to turn in original documentation (see below). During the pre-hire session, your photo may be taken for your ID badge.

What do I need to bring?

Social Security Card
Valid Picture ID
Voided Check (for Direct Deposit)
Transcripts/High School Diplomas (must be received by HR to confirm your employment with the district)
Official Service Records (optional, but recommended if you have them available)

ID Badge

As a new PCSD employee, you will be granted access to secure facilities.

Your Employee ID badge will give you secure access to the places where you work. Your badge will have your photo, name, job title, department and employee ID number. Your ID photo will be taken during the Staffing Session or at your assigned school.

Network Access

Your network ID will be activated after your information is entered into the PCSD employee system. Your Network Access letter has your log-in information, temporary password, and instructions to access your PCSD e-mail account. Please note: the first time you login you MUST login to a Windows based district computer (do not use a Chromebook or Chromebox) in order to create a new password since your initial password is only temporary and your accounts will not be fully created until you do.

As a new employee, you will receive your ID badge and network access letter at your New Employee Orientation.
